The Antonio Carlo Monzino Foundation is pleased to announce the 2025 edition of Talenti al Castello, a unique musical experience to be held in the prestigious Sala della Balla of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan.

The evening of December 3rd will feature young musicians Leonardo Moretti (violin), Anita Baldissin (violin), and Antonio Raco (cello), who, with their talent, will bring ancient musical instruments back to life and offer the audience a moment of extraordinary artistic beauty.

The Monzino House, active since the second half of the 18th century in the production and distribution of musical instruments, has passed down expertise, passion, and musical culture from generation to generation. The five Monzino brothers, belonging to the seventh generation, chose to share this heritage with the community through the establishment of the Antonio Carlo Monzino Foundation on June 10, 1999, previously known as De Musica Fondazione Antonio Monzino.

On that occasion, Antonio Monzino VI donated to the Civic Museum of Musical Instruments of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan a private collection of 79 antique musical instruments, dating from the late 17th century to 1930, making accessible to all, especially younger generations, a testimony to human ingenuity and the history of music. The official donation was formalized on February 9, 2000.

The Foundation is committed to conveying the guiding principles of the Monzino Family: promoting the learning of music from early childhood as a fundamental component of personal development. Scientific studies on the connection between music, the brain, and well-being confirm that musical practice enhances neurological connections, stimulates emotional intelligence, and fosters relational, social, and multicultural skills, contributing to individual well-being and the prevention of existential distress.

Talenti al Castello 2025 thus represents not only an extraordinary musical event but also a concrete commitment by the Foundation to promote music as a tool for cultural, educational, and personal growth.
